If you’ve never heard of the Christmas pickle, it’s a tradition in which a pickle (usually just a pickle ornament) is hidden in the Christmas tree, and the person who finds it gets to open an extra gift. It’s a fun little tradition — and the reason why there are so many pickle ornaments readily available in stores.
